Hey, Artisans!
Here is where the magic begins - your first step towards showing off your hard work and creativity as an artist to thousands of patrons strolling down the street over three beautiful spring days. Applications go live in January each year. Extra resources are always here.
Artisan Application
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR 2024.
This application applies to all fine artists that handcraft their own original work. Non-handmade wares will not be accepted unless previously grandfathered-in. Select 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that benefit local causes may be provided special applications on request and are only accepted as fillers based on availability. All commercial food vendors that are interested in serving food in the food court must contact Vendors@Gaspee.org to inquire about pricing and availability. Space are very limited and often fill up early.
Upon preliminary acceptance, approved vendors will receive notice by email and information will be shared with the City of Warwick in order to process a mandatory background check. Permission to participate will be rescinded without refund for applicants who fail background checks or fail to qualify for a city permit. The status of this process will not be shared with applicants until final acceptances are sent in mid May (no news is generally good news).
Business owners that do not have a permanent state sales permit must also complete an application for a temporary Permit to Make Sales at Retail in the State of Rhode Island, which will be provided during the application process. All information must be completed and returned by mail to the Gaspee Days Committee.
