Welcome
to the web site of the Gaspee Days Committee. Ever since our
organization
was first established in 1965, our members have continuously strived
to provide celebrations that enhance the understanding of the
importance of the Gaspee Affair in the founding of our
nation. In the time since I first joined the
Committee in 1988, I have also witnessed a strong broadening of our
mission
to enhance the community spirit of our home in
Pawtuxet Village. So, please, explore this site of the Gaspee Days

to see where we do it. All of our Gaspee Days activities require a team of dedicated volunteers to plan, fund, and produce. We welcome, and need, community-minded people like you to help us in these efforts. I confess that I am not a native-born Rhode Islander, but my close friends on the Gaspee Days Committee have joined my small family here to become my extended family. Please join us at one of our meetings that are held at 7:30 pm on the first Thursday of non-summer months at the scenic Aspray Boat House adjoining Pawtuxet Park.
